Dipika Surapaneni, an Indian American entrepreneur, founded Blocrent in 2022 in Las Vegas, Nevada. With a rich background in healthcare and technology startups, particularly through her work with United Medical Group, Dipika was inspired to bring her diverse experience to the burgeoning autonomous vehicle space. She recognized the potential for electric vehicles (EVs) to meet the growing demand for high-quality, secure, and affordable transportation services, particularly in today’s challenging economic climate where the cost of living continues to rise.

Driven by her commitment to innovation and her vision of building a business that benefits the local community, Dipika has made it her singular focus to bring robotaxi services to Las Vegas. Blocrent aims to provide safe, reliable, and cost-effective autonomous transportation options that can scale nationally in the future.
