• We are focused on autonomous driving, with Tesla’s Full Self-Driving vehicles, including Level 3 and Level 4 automation initially, and eventually Level 5 with no human intervention required.
• We operate on a no-tipping model, providing transparent pricing and removing the need for additional rider costs, while also paying drivers fairly.

The BlocPilot program is BlocRent’s driver program, where drivers oversee our Level 3 and 4 autonomous vehicles. BlocPilots ensure safety and comfort during rides, monitoring Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system and taking control when necessary. This role bridges the gap between traditional driving and the future of fully autonomous rides.

When BlocRent transitions to Level 5 autonomous driving, BlocPilots will move into new roles such as monitoring vehicle performance, overseeing remote operations, and managing maintenance schedules. You won’t just stop driving; you’ll transition to roles that ensure our fleet continues to perform at its best.

Safety is our top priority. We are using Tesla’s Full Self-Driving (FSD) system, which is designed to handle the vast majority of driving tasks. BlocPilots will be present in Level 3 and 4 vehicles to ensure the system is working correctly, and once we move to Level 5, the technology will be fully autonomous. All vehicles undergo regular maintenance and updates to ensure maximum safety. 

Full Self-Driving (FSD) is Tesla's advanced driver-assistance system (supervised) designed to enable autonomous driving capabilities. It includes features like automatic lane changes, street navigation, traffic light recognition, and more. While FSD technology is continually evolving, it still requires driver supervision at this time. 

BlocRent is conducting rigorous testing of Tesla’s FSD technology in real-world environments. Our drivers document and review FSD’s performance on various roads and conditions to assess its readiness for rideshare. We publish videos of these tests on our YouTube channel to share insights and progress. 

Currently, we are in the testing and evaluation phase. While FSD assists in driving, a trained driver is always in control of the vehicle for safety. We aim to incorporate FSD more actively as the technology matures and is approved for fully autonomous operation in rideshare settings.

If FSD disengages, our trained BlocPilot drivers are ready to take control and ensure a safe continuation of the ride. Our drivers are fully trained to handle such scenarios and prioritize passenger safety above all else.
